In addition to his mining camp sites, Frank keeps a residence in the Village of Mayo. With a population of less than 500, Mayo is still the largest inhabited area in the Silver Trail region of the Yukon.

Mayo has a history that traces back to the days of the Klondike. It also has the distinction of having recorded some of the Yukon's most extreme weather conditions, with a record high of 36 and a record low of -62 degrees celsius. To learn more about Mayo, visit the Mayo Community Page.
Frank passed away in 2013 at St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver, BC. The contact information for his Mayo address has been removed, but the frankerl@
